Aligarh Alumni Association of New England

A non-profit, non-political charitable 501(C)(3) organization

The Aligarh Alumni Association of New England (AAANE) traces its roots to 2002, when a group of AMU graduates in Massachusetts came together to build a formal community dedicated to service, education, and cultural connection.

Founding and Early Purpose

AAANE was established as a non‑political, non‑profit, secular organization committed to charitable, educational, literary, cultural, and social activities. Its mission centers on strengthening ties among AMU alumni in New England while supporting the broader AMU community and underprivileged students in India.

Core Mission and Activities

From its inception, the association has focused on:

  • Scholarships and educational support for students.
  • Community-building events that celebrate AMU’s heritage and culture.
  • Networking and mentorship among alumni across New England.
  • Charitable initiatives aligned with AMU’s values of service and upliftment.

Growth and Community Role

Over the years, AAANE has grown into a vibrant regional alumni organization. It continues to expand membership, strengthen community bonds, and host programs that reflect AMU’s legacy of education, inclusivity, and social impact.
